On 12 June 2023, H.E. Kallayana Vipattipumiprates, Ambassador of Thailand to Canada, joined a Working Lunch at the Thai Residence, where H.E. Busadee Santipitaks, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, met with the Honourable Senator Victor Oh, the Honourable Senator Stanley Kutcher and the Honourable Senator Yuen Pau Woo, to discuss important issues of common interests between Thailand and Canada, especially in the areas of STI, healthcare and climate change.  

Subsequently, on 13 June 2023, H.E. Santipitaks and H.E. Vipattipumiprates were invited by the Honourable Senator Victor Oh to observe the Senate in session and received the high honour of being recognised by the Honourable Speaker of the Senate.
