On 7 June 2018, Ambassador Maris Sangiampongsa presented credentials to Dr. Fang Liu, Secretary-General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Montreal. Ambassador Maris now serves as both Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Canada and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand to ICAO. On this occasion, Ambassador Maris discussed with Dr. Liu about the areas of cooperation between Thailand and ICAO through its regional office for Asia-Pacific. Ambassador also emphasized that the Thai Government takes priority in the safety of international air travel.
