On 12 October 2023, H.E. Hassan Soroosh, Ambassador of Afghanistan to Canada, officially handed over the deanship of the Asia Pacific Diplomatic Group to H.E. Kallayana Vipattipumiprates, Ambassador of Thailand to Canada, who will now take on the role effective today.
