On 28 March 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Ottawa organized the Conferment of the Royal Decoration Ceremony for Mrs. Thalia Geraldine Lyn, former Honorary Consul-General of Thailand to Jamaica, who received the Decoration of Commander (Third Class) of the Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant of Thailand for her dedication to Thailand and Thai people. His Excellency Kallayana Vipattipumiprates, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Jamaica, with residence in Ottawa, presided over the Ceremony, which was also attended by the Embassy’s officials, family members of Mrs. Thalia Geraldine Lyn, and Heads of Missions of the Caribbean countries to Canada.
