To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand & Canada, the Royal Thai Embassy in Ottawa presents "Cook Along at The Thai Ambassador’s Residence in Ottawa"
• 250 grams of chicken breast
• 30 grams of Thai holy basil
• 1½ tbsp of oyster sauce
• A few drops of dark soy sauce to add colour to the dish
• 1 tbsp of light soy sauce
• 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
• Slice the chicken breast into bite size pieces
• Chop the garlic and chilies and pound with a knife
• Wash the Thai holy basil and pick the leaves from the stems
• Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan on high heat
• When the oil is hot, add the mixed chopped garlic and chilies and stir fry
• Add the chicken until it is half cooked
• Add the oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, refined sugar and water
• Stir fry until everything is well mixed
• Add the Thai holy basil leaves, stir and turn off the heat
