H.E. Ambassador of Thailand as Representative of the Royal Thai Government Attended the 9th Summit of the Heads of State and/or Government of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) in the Republic of Guatemala
H.E. Kallayana Vipattipumiprates, Ambassador of Thailand, as Representative of the Royal Thai Government, attended the 9 th Summit of the Heads of State and/or Government of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) and the 28 th Ordinary Meeting of the Ministerial Council of the ACS, held between 11-12 May 2023 at the city of Antigua Guatemala, the Republic of Guatemala. On this occasion, H.E. the Ambassador paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mario Adolfo Búcaro Flores, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guatemala, and exchanged views on bilateral relations and cooperations in various areas of mutual benefit. Moreover, H.E. the Ambassador met with high dignitaries from various countries, including (1) H.E. the Most Honourable Philip Davis, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, (2) H.E. Tanja Fajon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, (3) H.E. Sandra Husbands, Minister in Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Barbados, (4) H.E. Roberto Alvarez, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic, and (5) H.E. Park Jin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea (South Korea), and also gave an interview to a local TV news programme, addressing Thailand’s roles in Central America and the Caribbean in enhancing cooperations in numerous fields of mutual interest, in particular, academic areas, tourism and agriculture.
