On 28 March 2019, Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Canada, presented to Ajahn Viradhammo, the Abbot of Tisarana Buddhist Monastery a donation as token of goodwill from the government of Thailand to Tisarana Buddhist Monastery to support the construction of the meditation hall project.
