Legalization Services
(Appointment Required)
Applicants who wish to receive legalization services must make an appointment in advance by email at [email protected].
The Embassy does not accept walk-in applications. Legalization services are available by appointment only.
Document Requirements
Before documents can be submitted to the Embassy for legalization, they must:
- Be notarized by a Notary Public; and
- Be authenticated with an Apostille issued by the appropriate Canadian competent authority.
The competent authority depends on where the document was issued or notarized. For example, documents issued or notarized in Ontario must generally be submitted to the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement for an Apostille.
Applicants are responsible for confirming the applicable requirements with the relevant Canadian competent authority before submitting their documents to the Embassy.
Legalization Fee
The fee is CAD 30.00 per stamp.
The Embassy accepts only:
- Cash (in-person submission)
- Money orders issued by a post office; or
- Bank drafts issued by a bank.
Payment must be made payable to the “ROYAL THAI EMBASSY.”
The Embassy does not accept personal cheques, company cheques, debit cards, or credit cards.
