A completed Application for Legalization form requesting authentication of your documents, or an official letter from your office.

Documents to be authenticated, please note that before you submit the documents to be authenticated by the Embassy, the documents must be:

  • Notarized by a Notary Public
  • Notarized documents must then be authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD). Their contact information is as follows:

  • If you reside in Quebec and would like to have your documents authenticated, follow the same procedures as above. However, you are not required to go through DFATD, but through Chambre des Notaires du Quebec instead. Their contact information is as follows:

Applying in-person :

  • 09.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Monday – Friday (except public and embassy holidays)

Authentication fee:

The fee is CAD $30.00 per stamp.  If documents are submitted in person or by mail please note for the payment the Embassy only accepts money orders from the post office or bank drafts from banks payable to the “ROYAL THAI EMBASSY”.

 

The Embassy does not accept personal cheques, company cheques, debit cards, or credit cards.

 

Please note that a Prepaid Xpress Post envelope must be included for the return of document. The embassy is not responsible for the missing of the returned document.
