✩♬₊˚. On Saturday 19 July 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Ottawa organized the 6^th Thai Festival 2025 at the Horticulture Building, Lansdowne Park, Ottawa. The event aimed to promote Thai food and imported products, as well as Thai culture and tourism, and to support local Thai businesses in Canada. 

🎤 During the opening ceremony, H.E. Kallayana Vipattipumiprates, Ambassador of Thailand to Canada, delivered welcome remarks to the attendees. The event was honored by the presence of The Honourable Senator Victor Oh, as Guest of Honour, along with members of the diplomatic corps in Canada.

Throughout the day, the festival featured a variety of Thai food, beverages, herbs, textiles, and handicrafts offered by Thai vendors from across Ontario and Quebec. Activities included the promotion of Thai food products and rice by the Thai Trade Centre in Toronto, as well as Thai tourism promotion, a live demonstration of Thai umbrella painting, and two grand prize giveaways of 5-star hotel accommodations in Thailand sponsored by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Chicago Office.

Visitors also enjoyed and learned about different aspects of Thai culture through traditional dance performances, Muay Thai and Thai massage demonstrations, live Thai music on stage, as well as a fruit carving station and the kids’ corner organized by the Thai Association of Ottawa. Throughout the day, visitors were around 5,000 persons. 🎉🎉 ✩♬₊˚.
