On 3 August 2025, Mr. Nuttapat Chumnijarakij, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i., visited Montreal and attended the “Muay Thai: Train the Trainers Workshop” and presented certificates to over 60 participants who completed the programme.  The workshop was held from 2–3 August 2025 and it was the first event of its kind in Canada. The workshop was a collaborative effort between the Royal Thai Embassy in Ottawa, Muay Thai Canada, and Muay Thai Quebec.

The objective of the workshop was to promote Muay Thai, and enhance its popularity in Canada.  This was conducted through proper training led by certified Muay Thai instructors aimed to provide standardized and authentic Muay Thai training, while also promoting Thai culture among Muay Thai instructors across Canada.
