Ambassador of Thailand to Canada Visited Thai Language Classes

On 8 February 8 2025, H.E. Kallayana Vipattipumiprates, Ambassador of Thailand to Canada, and Mr. Nuttapat Chumnijarakij, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Royal Thai Embassy in Ottawa, visited Thai language classes at Cambridge Street Community Public School in Ottawa. During the visit, they presented a financial donation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand’s budget for the fiscal year 2025. This contribution, made under the name of the Royal Thai Embassy in Ottawa, supports the Thai language and cultural education program for Thai youth. The Embassy has been supporting this initiative since 2023, which was launched by the Thai Association of Ottawa (TAO) in collaboration with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. The program aims to introduce the rich beauty of Thai customs and culture to younger generations and to strengthen the bonds within the Thai community in Ottawa.
