Royal Message from His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua of the Kingdom of Thailand to Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, regarding the shooting incident in Nova Scotia

Her Excellency the Governor General of Canada,

             Ottawa.

                   I am truly appalled and deeply saddened by the shooting rampage, the deadliest in recent memory, perpetrated on the residents of Portapique and other towns across the province of Nova Scotia. Quite beyond comprehension was the extent of the brutality which costed so many innocent lives including that of a police officer. I wish to express, on behalf of the people of Thailand, our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Your Excellency and through you, to the grieving families who have suffered so much from this horrific tragedy.
