On Saturday, 13 July 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy in Ottawa in collaboration with the office Thai Trade Centre, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and the Thai communities in Toronto organized the 6th Destination Thailand festival at Yonge-Dundas Square, to promote Thai culture, trade, and tourism in the heart of downtown Toronto.

The festival continues to showcase authentic Thai cuisine from local Thai Select certified restaurants , unique Thai products, a variety of cultural performances and activities, such as Thai classical dances, a Muay Thai demonstration by Siam No. 1 Muay Thai Academy,  fruit carving demonstration by the Thai Society of Ontario (TSO), traditional Thai massage by the Traditional Thai Massage Association of Ontario, as well as photobooth, games and quiz. This year's festival was attended by approximately 6,000 visitors.
