Job Title:                   Administrative Assistant/Translator

                                    (Provides office services by implementing administrative system, procedures and policies, and monitoring administrative projects / provides translation services)

 

Salary:                      $3600 monthly starting salary/Yearly increase/ Yearly contract with option to renew/Yearly bonus

 

Hours:                       Regular - Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm (also after office hours if urgent work required)

                                    Special - some weekends, with advance notice

 

Location:                  Royal Thai Embassy

Job Qualifications

-         University degree with English and French writing and speaking competence

-         Strong skills on: reporting, administrative writing, all Microsoft Office programs, managing processes, organization, analyzing information, and verbal communication

-         Experience required (at least 2 years) with references

-         Canadian national or Permanent Resident

 

Other Qualifications

-         Clear criminal records check

-         Strong ability to improvise and work flexible hours, scheduling and drafting letters, coordinate travel arrangements

-         Strong attention to detail with accuracy

-         Ability to meet deadlines/Strong problem-solving and

time-management skills

-         Knowledge of Thai language will be an asset

-         Good communications and interpersonal skills
