เมื่อวันที่ 18-19 เมษายน 2569 นายดามพ์ บุญธรรม เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงออตตาวา พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการและเจ้าหน้าที่ของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้จัดกิจกรรมกงสุลสัญจร ครั้งที่ 1/2569 ที่เมือง Mississauga นครโทรอนโต เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกแก่คนไทยทั้งในนครโทรอนโตและเมืองใกล้เคียง โดยมีคนไทยเข้ารับบริการหนังสือเดินทาง นิติกรณ์ ทะเบียนราษฎร และขอรับคำปรึกษาด้านการกงสุลกว่า 100 คน โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ใช้โอกาสนี้พบปะกับชุมชนไทยที่เข้ารับบริการด้วย
ในโอกาสการจัดกิจกรรมดังกล่าว เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานเลี้ยงอาหารแก่แกนนำชุมชนไทยในนครโทรอนโต ได้แก่ กงสุลอาสาประจำนครโทรอนโต สมาคมไทยแห่งออนแทรีโอ สมาคมนักศึกษาไทยมหาวิทยาลัยโทรอนโต และ Thai Festival Foundation เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับการจัดกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งและบทบาทที่สร้างสรรค์ในด้านสังคม วัฒนธรรม และการศึกษาของคนไทยในนครโทรอนโต โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้มอบเงินสนับสนุนของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ให้แก่กงสุลอาสาฯ สมาคมไทยฯ และสมาคมนักศึกษาฯ ด้วย
On 18-19 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Darm Boontham, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Canada, together with officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Ottawa, organized a Mobile Consular Service in Mississauga, Toronto, to facilitate Thai nationals residing in Toronto and nearby cities. Nearly 100 Thai nationals received services including passport, legalization, civil registration and consular consultations. The Ambassador also took the opportunity to meet with members of the Thai community who received the services.
On this occasion, the Ambassador hosted a dinner for key representatives of the Thai community including the Volunteer Consul, the Thai Association of Ontario, the Thai Student Association at the University of Toronto and the Thai Festival Foundation. The discussion focused on collaboration in organizing various activities to further strengthen the role and contributions of the Thai community in social, cultural and educational spheres. The Ambassador also presented financial supports from the Royal Thai Embassy to the Volunteer Consul, the Thai Association and the Thai Student Association.
Les 18 et 19 avril 2026, S.E. M. Darm Boontham, Ambassadeur du Royaume de Thaïlande au Canada, accompagné des fonctionnaires et du personnel de l’Ambassade royale de Thaïlande à Ottawa, a organisé un service consulaire mobile à Mississauga (Toronto), afin de faciliter l’accès aux services consulaires pour les ressortissants thaïlandais résidant à Toronto et dans les villes avoisinantes. Près de 100 ressortissants thaïlandais ont bénéficié de services, notamment en matière de passeports, de légalisation, d’état civil et de consultations consulaires. L’Ambassadeur a également saisi cette occasion pour rencontrer des membres de la communauté thaïlandaise ayant reçu ces services.
À cette occasion, l’Ambassadeur a offert un dîner en l’honneur de représentants clés de la communauté thaïlandaise, notamment le consul honoraire, l’Association thaïlandaise de l’Ontario, l’Association des étudiants thaïlandais de l’Université de Toronto et la Thai Festival Foundation. Les échanges ont porté sur la collaboration dans l’organisation de diverses activités visant à renforcer davantage le rôle et la contribution de la communauté thaïlandaise dans les domaines social, culturel et éducatif. L’Ambassadeur a également remis un soutien financier de l’Ambassade royale de Thaïlande au consul honoraire, à l’Association thaïlandaise et à l’Association des étudiants thaïlandais.
