1. Requirement

Upon official request, The Royal Thai Embassy may grant visas to diplomatic or official passport-holders who wish to assume duties at a foreign Diplomatic Mission or Consulate or International Organization in the Kingdom and to their family members intention of working.

2. Documents Required

• Passport with validity not less than 6 months for single entry or 18 months for multiple entries
• Visa application form completely filled out with applicant's signature.
• Recent( 2"x2") photograph of the applicant (photocopy or photo taken from Photostat or from vending machine will not be accepted)

For Canadian citizen

Official letter issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Canada certifying the identity of the person concerned and his/her purposes while residing in the Kingdom.

For non-Canadian citizen

Official letter issued by applicant's Embassy certifying the identity of the person and his/her purposes while residing in the Kingdom

Persons Holding UN Laissez-Passer

Official letter issued by his or her international organizations agency certifying the identity of the person concerned and his/her purposes while residing in the Kingdom.

3. Validity of a visa

The Validity of a visa is 6 months or longer (depend on period of mission in the Kingdom).

4. Visa Fee

No fee is collected for diplomatic and official visas.
